ABOUT JOE DOUTHWRIGHT, OWNER & OPERATOR
Joe Douthwright, a London, Ontario native, embarked on a journey after completing his undergrad at Wilfrid Laurier University in the late '90s. An opportunity to work in Japan for 1 year ended up spanning over 12 years.
It was during these years that he got inspired by the burgeoning solar PV industry in Japan and its traction in Ontario. Joe pursued further studies in Japanese, completed his MBA while training in solar PV technology.
When he moved back to settle in Niagara Region it became clear that there was demand to facilitate business owners and homeowners efforts to be more efficient, cut consumption and produce solar power for their homes, farms, and businesses.
Now and with over a decade of hands-on project experience in solar PV installations, energy-efficient LED lighting retrofits, EV charging, and battery storage systems, DES is just getting started.

Delta Energy Solutions (DES) was formed in 2012 with the goal of supporting our customers efforts to be more sustainable, reduce hydro energy consumption and to minimize their environmental impact.
We’ve done this by providing cost-effective products and energy efficient solutions that have attractive returns on investment and positive impacts on people’s lives and in their workplaces. Our portfolio has evolved over the years but our core focus in the solar PV sector, LED lighting retrofits and more recently battery storage systems keep us excited with the ever-improving capabilities and developments in this quickly changing landscape so we can meet our customer’s needs.
